I’d like to welcome everyone to my blog and give a brief overview of what this blog is all about.
Every one of us would like to become more fit. Some of us would like to lose weight, others would like to build muscle, and even more would like to do both. So how do we do this?
With diet and exercise? Of course! Everyone knows that! But that doesn’t really help us, does it? If everyone knows how to get fit then why is it so few actually do? Maybe it’s just because we really are lazy slobs after all. Well, if that’s the case we might as well just call it quits right here and now. But I don’t believe that.
So what is the reason?
The truth of the matter is its damn tough to get into shape – simple as that. I wish I had a better answer, but the truth is the truth.
Fortunately, there is one redeeming fact of a hard truth . . . once we accept it for what it is it ceases to act as a barrier and instead becomes a springboard. So what if it’s tough. So what if the challenge seems too great. So what if we are afraid. The truth remains – it is hard, nothing can change that. Set your goals and give it your best. If you set the right goals, even falling short will leave you coming out ahead.
That’s it for my introduction. This blog is a work in progress, but I promise that in the coming months I’ll be adding much more content, better pictures, and eventually video (when I figure this whole digital media thing out).
